AboutDialog, DonationsActivity and TogglePreference can be moved into a separate module since they can be used (or are already being used) verbatim by my other apps.

lxml provides a cleaner (or more pythonic) implementation, is easier to install and more commonly required.

Android Studio / Gradle support the use of build “flavors” with different code, plus Android apps support versioned resources, so the two branches can be merged into a single one taking advantage of that.

This prevents reading files from external (or emulated external) storage in API 19 and above (Kitkat, until then it wasn’t enforced).

Command-line arguments for DVD handling should be consistent with handling of video files, e.g.:

$ vcs --dvd --dvd-title 1 /dev/dvd

with dvd-title being optional, instead of

$ vcs --dvd /dev/dvd 1

It doesn’t make sense to load on boot if we won’t be displaying the notification.

Doing this better will remove from of the duplication with overrides, specially on the filename font/non-latin stuff

VCS’ temporary dir (and its contents) is not removed on cleanup. Space in /dev/shm is wasted as a result.

Patch attached.

The grep regex uses ‘\s’ which is Perl-style and not supported by all greps.

Use ‘:space:’ or similar.

Low severity since vcs works with the failed check.
